Available SIRIUS™ Satellite Radio offer a variety of music and entertainment streams, many commercial-free. SIRIUS eliminates fading signals when driving long distances and keeps the same streams, coast to coast, while offering digital sound quality.

Transmission

with 560 pound-feet of torque to deal with, Viper's six-speed manual transmission had to be strengthened too.

The gears on the new TR6060 are 10 percent wider than the predecessor and these stronger gears and upgraded synchros improve shift quality.

Suspension

Race-bred aluminum, four-wheel independent suspension featuring lightweight, high-performance aluminum control arms and knuckles, damped by lightweight coil-over shock absorbers.

Rods and Pistons

Strength is added with forged powder-metal connecting rods with small ends bronze bushed for high end load capability with larger-diameter floating pins.

Oil System

Larger oil pump to support cam operation at low rpm with cartridge oil pump pressure relief valve for improved performance.

A competition-tested swinging oil pickup maintains pressure during high G-force manoeuvres.

Impressive Performance

SRT engineers left no stone unturned and created a new engine and new transmission and driveline component for bigger displacement, more efficient breathing, and higher engine speed.

Bottom line: zero to 60 mph (zero to 96 km/h) in less than four seconds; 0-100-0mph (0-160-0 km/h) in just over 12 breathtaking seconds.

New high-capacity fuel pump to support full throttle, hot ambient, high rpm operation with injector located in the cylinder head port to improve injector targeting for emissions and power.

Differential

Visco-look speed-sensing limited-slip differential gives Viper even greater ability to launch out of corners.

Cylinders are bored and honed with torque plates to improve oil economy, friction and power. A newly designed intake allows for 20 percent more airflow, New headers improve exhaust flow and each cylinder now gets its own coil pack.

Brembo® Brakes

Brembo® Performance brakes with 44/40 dual opposing piston calipers in the front, 42/38 dual opposing piston calipers in the rear.

355-mm (14-in.) rotors for both helping you brake from 96 kilometres per hour (60 miles per hour) to a complete stop in less than 30 meters (100 feet).

Aero Group

Aero Group includes a front splitter and giant rear wing for increased down force for road-gripping power.

Advanced Multistage Air Bags

Advanced multistage driver and front passenger air bags inflate with a force appropriate to the severity of the impact, reducing the risk of air bag-induced injuries to children and small adults.

Always use seat belts. Children 12 and under should always be in a back seat correctly using an infant or child restraint system, or the seat belt properly positioned, dependent on the child's age and weight.

ACR Competition Group

For Coupe only, the American Club Racer (ACR) Competition Group features a full down force-inducing Aero package and custom-sized Michelin Pilot Sport Cup track-based street tires.

The Competition Group also includes a mechanically adjustable KW suspension paired with lightweight wheels and ultra-performance tires. Even the brakes on the ACR are lightweight, featuring world-class two-piece slotted brake rotors designed for racing applications, known for their stopping power and cornering ability.

8.4L V10 Engine

The 8.4-litre V10 Viper engine now boasts benchmark numbers of 600 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 560 pound-feet of torque at 5,100 rpm, with a 69.05 horsepower/litre ratio.

Tire Pressure Monitoring

The Tire Pressure Monitoring System warns the driver of an under-inflated tire via the LCD readout in the speedometer.

High-Intensity Discharge Headlamps

Standard High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps provide three times the light output of conventional reflector lamps, offering improved night time vision.
