UConnect Phone

Uconnect* phone provides communication between your personal Bluetooth compatible cellular phone and the vehicle's on-board receiver, helping the driver stay focused on driving when placing and receiving calls. Incoming voice is broadcast through the vehicle's front stereo speakers, and a microphone in the rear-view mirror picks up occupants' voices for transmission, keeping hands free for driving by using voice recognition to dial from your personal phone list.

The system allows rear seat passengers to watch a movie while the driver and front passenger enjoy the audio system, helping keep rear seat passengers occupied on long or short trips.

Seating Choices

Durango features a number of seating choices, offering convenience and greater flexibility for every passenger. Choices include low-back bucket seats, second row 40/20/40 Fold-and-Tumble™ bench seat with available recline feature, available heated second row bucket seats with floor console, third row bench and available 60/40-split folding rear seat.

Remote Start System

The available remote start system starts the engine from outside the vehicle by using the Remote Key-less Entry key fob, and features a targeted range of approximately 91 m (300 ft). The system operates when the vehicle is locked and the transmission is in Park.

Upon starting, the vehicle remains in Remote Start mode for 15 minutes, after which it shuts down. The system will warm or cool the interior prior to passengers entering the vehicle if the heating and cooling controls were left on at the last engine shutdown.

Power Sunroof

Available power sunroof with vent, tilt, and slide settings, as well as an "express open" feature, lets fresh air and daylight into the cabin.

Power Liftgate

The available power lift-gate operates by using either the remote or an interior switch, providing added convenience when raising or lowering the rear lift-gate.

Power Adjustable Pedals

Available power adjustable pedals allow the driver to adjust the position of the brake and accelerator pedals, helping the driver achieve a safe and comfortable seating position for improved vehicle control.

Overhead Console

The standard overhead console houses the Electronic Vehicle Information Centre (EVIC), courtesy lamps, compass, temperature, elapsed time, trip odometer, Distance To Empty (DTE) and meter reading miles per U.S. gallon presenting useful information to determine fuel stops and driving/arrival times on long trips.

Heated Seats

Available heated front seats allow front seat passengers to adjust the temperature of their seating surfaces, providing greater passenger comfort during cold temperatures.

Available heated second row seats feature greater comfort for second row passengers during cold temperatures.

Heated front seats are available with cloth or leather seating, and are standard on Limited. Heated second row seats are available with second row leather-face bucket seats only.

Trailer Tow Group includes a Class IV hitch receiver, seven- and four-pin wiring harness and the Heavy-Duty Service Group, providing all the necessary equipment required for heavy-duty towing built in at the factory.

Available 5.7L HEMI® VVT V8 engine delivers 376 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. The Multi-Displacement System (MDS) will turn off the fuel consumption in four cylinders when V8 power is not needed, providing performance and fuel economy.

4.7L Flex Fuel V8 Engine

The 4.7-litre Flex Fuel V8 engine produces 303 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque, delivering outstanding levels of power. The engine is E85 flex-fuel capable, offering the capability to use E85 ethanol, gasoline or any combination of the two.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Side-Curtain Air Bags

Side-curtain air bags provide added occupant protection and peace of mind for all three rows of seats. Mounted in the headliner above the doors. A crash sensor is located near the bottom inside of each B-pillar. Electronic roll protection feature keeps air bag inflated longer after deployment helping provide protection for occupants in the event of a rollover.

Always use seat belts. Children 12 and under should always be in a back seat correctly using an infant or child restraint system, or seat belt properly positioned, dependent on the child's age and weight.

Sentry Key®

Sentry Key® anti-theft engine immobilizer prevents the engine from starting when using an invalid or improperly coded key, providing vehicle security by making it virtually impossible to start the vehicle without the owner's key.

Security Alarm

The available integrated vehicle alarm system provides an effective warning that discourages theft and vandalism.

ParkSense™ and ParkView®

When the driver selects Reverse or Neutral, the available ParkSense™ rear park-assist system scans for objects behind the vehicle that are within 1500 mm (59 inches) of the rear of the vehicle. Audio-visual indicators in the overhead display in the rear of the vehicle alter the driver to the proximity of most larger, stationary objects that might be outside the driver's line of sight.

The available ParkView® rear backup camera displays a rear-view video image when the vehicle is in reverse, helping the driver determine if an obstacle is in the path of the vehicle. The system allows drivers to see things directly behind the vehicle, supplying better rearward visibility when backing up and operating in all types of lighting situations.

Front Frame Rail Tips

The front frame rail tips are deigned to collapse in a controlled manner in the event of a collision, helping to absorb the impact in the event of a frontal or offset-front collision.

Four-Wheel Disc Anti-Lock Brakes

Four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes monitor wheel speed and automatically modulate brake pressure during hard braking to prevent wheel lockup, providing improved steering control under extreme braking and/or slippery conditions.

Fog Lamps

Standard fog lamps mounted in the front fascia provide better forward vision in some conditions and add an aggressive styling cue.

Electronic Stability Program (ESP™)

Electronic Stability Program (ESP™)* is designed to assist driver in maintaining control of their vehicles during extreme steering man-oeuvres. ESP sense when a vehicle is starting to spin (over-steer) or plow (under-steer), and attempts to correct the vehicle's course by automatically controlling the throttle and applying the brakes at individual wheels.

ESP includes Brake Assist, All-Speed Traction Control, Electronic Roll Mitigation and Trailer Sway Control. *No system, no matter how sophisticated, can repeal the laws of physics or overcome careless driving actions. Performance is limited by available traction, which snow, ice and other conditions can affect. When the ESP warning lamps in the instrument cluster flashes, the driver needs to use less throttle and adapt road speed and driving behavior to prevailing road conditions. Always drive carefully, consistent with conditions. Please always wear your seat belt.

Advanced Multistage Air Bags

Advanced multistage driver and front passenger air bags reduces the risk of air bag-induced injuries to children and small adults as provided under U.S. Federal Safety Standards. They inflate with a force appropriate to the severity of the impact.

Always use seat belts. Children 12 and under should always be in a back seat correctly using an infant or child restraint system, or seat belt properly positioned, dependent on the child's age and weight.

Active Turn Signals

Durango's turn signals are activated with a single tap, requiring less effort during lane changes. The resulting three-blink lane change signal provides a clear signal to other drivers that a lane change is occurring.
