UConnect Phone

Available Uconnect phone provides communication between your personal Bluetooth™ compatible phone and the vehicle's on-board receiver. Includes a phone book, voice tag dialing, digit dialing, incoming call notification and privacy mode. Advanced voice recognition technology makes communication easier. Incoming voice is broadcast through the vehicle's front speakers. A microphone picks up occupant voices for transmission, keeping hands free for driving by using voice recognition to dial from your personal phone list.

System can interface with up to five separate phones, ideal for multiple-phone households. Integrated system helps drivers stay focused on driving when placing and receiving calls.

UConnect GPS

The available Uconnect features a AM/FM SIRIUS™ stereo radio with CD/MP3/WMA capability with a 20 gigabyte hard drive, allowing storage and playback os music, pictures, videos and other media. A voice dialogue system offers hands-free voice-activated operation.

The full-sized touch screen provides convenient interaction with the system. Uconnect GPS phone system provides communication between your personal Bluetooth™ compatible phone and the vehicle's on-board receiver.

Stain Repel Seat Fabric

Stain Repel seat fabric allows liquid spills to be easily cleaned by blotting with a cloth or paper towel. The fabric resists soiling, staining and odours, and the treatment is integral to the fabric -- it is not a coating.

Stain Repel seat fabric is standard on SXT. Not compatible with aftermarket fabric protecting coatings.

Sound Systems

NVH Controls

Avenger features numerous measures to reduce road noise and harshness transmission to the passenger compartment, improving ride and comfort, including: Front suspension cradle and rear suspension cross-members isolated to the body, extra insulation in the firewall and cradle and cross-member attachments stiffened.

LED Interior Lighting

Light-emitting diode (LED) instrument-panel indicator lighting provides uniform, glare-free illumination for improved visibility and easier operation. Aim-able front/rear LED map/reading lamps are available.

Key Fob Express-Down

Available express-down feature allows the front windows to be lowered by pressing a button on the key fob for added convenience. Standard on R/T and available on SXT.

Heated/Cooled Cup Holder

Three-position switch (Off, Heat, Cool) operates the heating/cooling unit, keeping hot beverages cold. The system heats to 60°C (140°F) or cools to 2°C(35°F). Available on SXT and R/T models.

Heated Seats

Available heated front seats with premium cloth are a segment exclusive, allowing customers to choose heated seats without upgrading to leather-faced seating.

Heated seats are available with either cloth or two-tone leather-face, enhancing the comfort of the driver and front passenger in cooler weather. Standard on R/T and available on SXT.

Fold-Flat Passenger Seatback

The available fold-flat front passenger seat-back creates additional cargo space for longer or hard-to-fit items. Standard on SXT and R/T models.

Flexible Cargo Space

Generous 385 litre (13.6 cu. ft) trunk provides plenty of room for golf clubs, luggage or groceries. 60/40-split folding rear seat-back with fold-down armrest provides flexibility to accommodate a rear seat passenger and over-sized cargo simultaneously.

Variable Intermittent Wipers

Wipers with three positions and a range of intermittent delays are easily adjustable to respond to varying weather conditions.

Side Impact Protection

Side guard door beams in the front and rear doors provide occupant protection during a side impact.

Side Air Bags

Side-curtain air bags deploy from the headliner and front seat-mounted side air bags deploy from the outboard side of the driver's side and front passenger seat, providing two rows of side impact protection to outboard occupants. The air bags deploy independently, and offer enhanced protection during a side impact.

Sentry Key immobilizes the engine if the correct key is not used to start the engine, helping protect the vehicle against theft.

Security Alarm

Monitors the doors, ignition and trunk cylinders, and sounds the horn and flashes the lamps when activated. The alarm activates if the key cylinders are broken during a theft attempt.

Remote Keyless Entry

Controls the power door locks and trunklid release, offering touch-of-a-button convenience. Panic feature sounds the horn, turns on the interior lamps and flashes the headlamps when activated, enhancing personal security. The system also includes an express-down window function. Standard on all models.

Electronic Stability Program (ESP™)

SP provides oversteer and understeer control to help maintain vehicle behavior on all surfaces, providing an added measure of vehicle control and safety in all seasonal driving conditions. Includes Brake Assist and all-speed traction control. Available on SXT and R/T FWD.

*No system, no matter how sophisticated, can repeal the laws of physics or overcome careless driving actions. Performance is limited by available traction, which snow, ice and other conditions can affect. When the ESP warning lamps in the instrument cluster flashes, the driver needs to use less throttle and adapt speed and driving behavior to prevailing road conditions. Always drive carefully, consistent with conditions. Please always wear your seat belt.

Child Seat Anchor System

User-ready child seat lower anchors in all rear seating positions help ensure safe and proper installation of LATCH-compatible aftermarket child seats.

Auto-Dimming Mirror

Reduces glare and helps ease nighttime driving. The mirror dims to the level needed while providing rearward visibility appropriate to operating conditions.

Anti-Lock Brakes

ABS automatically pumps the brakes many times per second in a potential wheel lockup situation, helping prevent brake-induced wheel lockup during severe braking manoeuvres, resulting in increased steering control under most braking situations.

Front disc, rear drum standard on SXT with the 2.4-litre engine. Four-wheel disc brakes standard on SXT with the 2.7-litre V6 engine and R/T models.

Advanced Multistage Air Bags

Air bags inflate with a force appropriate to the severity of the impact, providing nearly instantaneous occupant protection.
