PARKSENSE

This standard ParkSense™ rear park assist system helps the driver man-oeuvre in Reverse at low spees. When the driver selects Reverse or Neutral gear, the system scans for objects behind the vehicle that are within 1500mm(59inches) of the rear of the vehicle. Audio-visual indicators in the overhead display in the rear of the vehicle alert the driver to the proximity of most larger, stationary objects that might be outside the driver's line of sight.

The warning display in the rear headliner can provide both a visual and audio warning. The system can be deactivated via a switch located in the lower switch bank. Intended to provide assistance to the driver, Always exercise appropriate care reversing.

Applies the brakes with a high burst of pressure to cause the outside tire to slip and cause the outside tire to slip and cause the vehicle's weight to transfer back over the inside tires which keeps all four tires solidly on the ground.

Brake Assist

Helps to ensure 100 percent brake efficiency during panic situations to help drivers stop sooner. Features an active power booster for maximum braking power when needed. Reacts faster than a human being to apply full brake pressure. Can help reduce stopping distance by over a car length at highway speeds.

All-Speed Traction Control

All-speed traction control monitors the amount of wheel spin of each of the driven wheels applying brake pressure to the slipping wheels and reduces engine power to provide enhanced acceleration and stability.

Provides increased driving confidence on all road surfaces, especially on sand and gravel as well as wet and snowy roads. Controls the wheels spin across a driven axle, similar to limited-slip differential. If one wheel on a driven axle is spinning faster than the other, the system will apply the brake and slow down that wheel. Allows more engine torque to be successfully applied to the wheel if it is not spinning.

Advanced Multistage Air Bags.

Advanced multistage driver and front passenger air bags help reduce the risk of air bag-induced injuries to children and small adults. They inflate with a force appropriate to the severity of the impact.
