Electronic Stability Program(ESP) constantly compares the driver's intended with the vehicle's actual course and detects differences, applying the brakes to individual wheels and controlling engine power to help keep the vehicle on its intended path. ESP provides oversteer and understeer control to maintain vehicle behaviour on all surfaces, providing an added measure of vehicle control and safety in all seasonal driving conditions.

No system, no matter how sophisticated, can repeal the laws of physics or overcome careless driving actions. Performance is limited by available traction, which snow, ice and other conditions can affect. When the ESP warning lamp in the instrument cluster flashes, the driver needs to use less throttle and adapt speed and driving behaviour to prevailing road conditions. Adaptive Cruise Control

Adaptive Speed Control(ACC) automatically decreases the vehicle's preset cruise-control speed when closing in on another vehicle in the same lane, or when another vehicle pulls into the same lane.

ACC accelerates to the preset speed when the vehicle in front spees up or moves into another lane. ACC maintains a specific distance between the vehicle and the one in front of it, allowing the use of cruise control in light traffic without having to continuously adjust settings.

Tire Pressure Monitoring

The Tire Pressure Monitoring system includes pressure sensor modules that are integrated with the valve stems of all four road wheels.Each module sends continuous radio frequency signals to a receiver and informs the driver when the pressure is too low.

A warning system with warning lamp offers added peace of mind, as well as better fuel economy, improved handling and a more comfortable ride due to properly inflated tires. Uses an amber warning indicator (ISO symbol) in the instrument cluster, and displays individual tire pressure on 300C.

Smartbeam Headlamps

Uses photometric sensors to detect ambient lighting conditions, including the presence of oncoming headlamps or tail lamps, and automatically switches between high-beam and low-beam settings as needed.

Side-Curtain Air Bags

Designed to extend protection to both the front and rear outboard passengers. Each side air bag has its own impact sensor in order to autonomously trigger the air bag on the side where the impact occurs. This type of air bag is housed in the headliner just above the side windows.

Protection Groups

PARKSENSE

The ParkSense rear park assist system uses sound waves to detect nearby obstacles in and near the rear path of the vehicle to help you manoeuvre in tight spaces at parking speeds.

Audio-visual indicators in the overhead display in the rear of the vehicles alert you to the proximity of most larger, stationary objects that might be outside your line of sight.
